Bellingham The Bernard Series Basket Press Limited Release Syrah 2020

Beschreibung

A still red from South Africa, 14% ABV, produced by Bellingham. A Syrah from „The Bernard Series Basket Press Limited Release“ that celebrates tradition and craftsmanship in winemaking. The company, founded in 1693, has a long history of innovation. Hand-picking at perfect ripeness, careful selection of the grapes, and natural fermentation in 500-liter French oak barrels before gentle pressing in a basket press are the secrets of this wine. Aged for 12 months in French oak barrels. A powerful and aromatic wine, with ample spice of white and black pepper, notes of dark chocolate on a base of red berry fruit tinged with subtle floral hints of violet. A generously structured wine with ripe tannins that promises further integration and complexity.
